Private Eyes returns for its second season on Global this Thursday, May 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The second season takes off as Shade (Jason Priestley) is now a full partner at Angie’s (Cindy Sampson) firm, Everett Investigations. The sophomore season’s mysteries will take Shade and Angie all over Toronto, including the Woodbine Racetrack, Toronto Fashion Week, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Beach neighbourhood as well as Danforth Village.

Also returning for season two are Barry Flatman as Shade’s father Don, Jordyn Negri as Shade’s daughter, Jules, Nicole DeBoer as Becca, Shade’s ex, Clé Bennett as Detective Nolan, and Ennis Esmer as Detective Mazhari. New recurring cast members this season include Bree Williamson (One Life to Live & General Hospital) as Melanie, a prosecutor who catches Shade’s eye, Mark Ghanimé (Reign) as Dr. Ken Graham, who shares a romantic history with Angie, Sharon Lewis (Degrassi) who works at Don’s new restaurant, and Samantha Wan (Second Jen) as Zoe, a client-turned-new hire at Everett Investigations.

The season premiere will see Shade and Angie hired by the owner of a car racing team to find out who is threatening the business. The episode is directed by Priestley and will feature IndyCar Series driver James “Hinch” Hinchcliffe as himself.

Guest stars for the first half of the second season will include William Shatner as Norm Glinski, a rival PI, and Jeanne Beker, who’ll make an appearance during a fashion-themed episode.

Episodes of Private Eyes will be made available to watch on and Global Go the day following their broadcast on Global TV.
