Channel 4’s dramedy Loaded is set to premiere on AMC on Monday, July 17, at 10 p.m. The British series is based on Mesudarim, which aired in Israel from 2007 to 2009.
Loaded follows four tech entrepreneurs and childhood friends who sell their start up videogame company and become multimillionaires — and must deal with the pitfalls that come with being an overnight success. Jim Howick (The Aliens), Samuel Anderson (Doctor Who), Jonny Sweet (Babylon) and Nick Helm (Uncle) star are the four techies while Mary McCormack (The Newsroom) stars as their new boss.
Loaded is the second collaboration between AMC and Channel 4, after Humans. The first season consists of eight episodes. Veep’s Jon Brown serves as writer and executive producer. Loaded premiered on Channel 4 in the UK this past January.
