— This week on The Bold and the Beautiful (CTV Two/CBS): Eric (John McCook) advises Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) regarding her future plans to live in Los Angeles on Monday (August 14). Steffy (Jacquline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) disagree on Bill’s (Don Diamont) deviant lie as well as how it should be handled. On Tuesday (August 15), Quinn’s problems concerning Sheila escalate rapidly and are so much worse than she previously thought as the two face off at the Forrester Mansion. Meanwhile, Bill (Don Diamont) comes up with a backup plan to ensure that the Spectra building will be his.

Sally (Courtney Hope) makes a fighting plea to CJ (Mick Cain) to allow her one more collection to prove that Spectra will be a success on Wednesday (August 16). Eric and Quinn greatly differ about what to do regarding Sheila’s condition, which was brought on by Quinn. On Thursday (August 17), Steffy warns Bill that Liam may be the one to push back even though she’s on board with the plan about Thomas (Pierson Fodé) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). Eric’s ultimatum to Sheila forces her to extreme measures to get him to reconsider.

Eric enlists the assistance of an old friend, James Warwick (Ian Buchanan), to help his current situation with Sheila on Friday (August 18). During an interview, Sally appeals to Liam’s emotional side by explaining why she intends to carry on the Spectra business. Coming up: Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) questions both Eric and James about Sheila.

Ian Buchanan’s first airdate back as Dr. James Warwick on B&B is slated for Aug. 17. You can also look out for the returns of Mick Cain (CJ) and Aaron D. Spears (Justin) this week.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) ask Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) to stay away from Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). On Tuesday (August 15), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) experience cabin fever. Billy (Jason Thompson) forms an unlikely alliance. Sharon (Sharon Case) enlists Scott’s (Daniel Hall) help to find Crystal (Morgan Obenreder).

Cane offers up dirt on Brash & Sassy on Wednesday (August 16). Graham (Max Shippee) covers for Dina (Marla Adams). Jack (Peter Bergman) retaliates against Billy. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) ends up making a new enemy on Thursday (August 17). Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) makes a move on Lily. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is forced to choose sides.

— Outgoing Y&R head writer Sally Sussman has given an interview to Daytime Confidential where she speaks out about Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) love story, details of her departure from the soap and that Marla Adams’ Dina is struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. Seinfeld nemesis Wayne Knight (Newman) will guest star on The Young and the Restless on Tuesday, September 19 and Wednesday, September 20 (Canadian airdates) as music promoter Irv West, who checks out the Genoa City music scene. Look for him to have scenes with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Noah (Robert Adamson), Devon (Bryton James), Sharon (Sharon Case), Scott (Daniel Hall) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).
