Billy (Jason Thompson) conspires with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) on Tuesday (Feb. 20). Devon (Bryton James) gives Hilary (Mishael Morgan) the cold shoulder. Phyllis and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) game of cat and mouse heats up.
On Wednesday (Feb. 21), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) makes a shocking discovery. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) makes up for lost time. Sharon’s life hangs in the balance.
Chelsea is backed into a corner on Thursday (Feb. 23). Victor (Eric Braeden) springs into action. Nick’s world is rocked!
Noah’s Exit: Robert Adamson exited the role of Noah Newman last week as Noah took a job at Newman Enterprises’ Mumbai office. It’s a shame that all the writing regimes in the past five years never really knew what to do with the character — especially considering he’s a legacy character and should be the one driving story just as much as his father and grandfather.
The actor thanked his fans on Instagram, “I want to say thank you for all the support I’ve received over more than five years of portraying Noah Newman. The cast and crew truly became my family. While I don’t believe this is officially goodbye, Noah will not be back in Genoa City in the near future. I will personally be back anytime they wish, schedule permitting.”
Some thoughts… Why is it that Chelsea’s exit storyline is the best storyline that Melissa Claire Egan has received on this show? I’m glad that the “WTF Fake Website” story lead to the reveal that Nick isn’t Connor’s biological father. This should have been the exit plan from the start. But I guess how else would they have factored that vixen-turned-busybody Phyllis into this. Who does Phyllis think she is, anyway? Detective Pikachu?
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on Global and CBS. Canadian viewers can catch up with Y&R on demand, on the Global Go app and online at GlobalTV.com.
