Lady Gaga at the Brit Awards, Jersey Shore, Podcast and more

The 2010 Brit Awards took place last night. Here’s a clip of Lady Gaga performing “Telephone” and “In the Dark.”

Expect my review up later in the week. For those who can’t catch it online, MuchMusic will actually air the awards (gasp), but it won’t be until March 4th (airing at 7pm, 9pm & Midnight). That photo above is a still from her new video, “Telephone” which should drop any day now. It’s her second duet with Beyonce.

Colin Egglesfield (Auggie, Melrose Place; ex-Josh, All My Children) will replace Daniel Cosgrove (soon-to-be-Chris, As the World Turns; ex-Bill, Guiding Light; ex-Matt, Beverly Hills 90210) as a young William Walker on the Brothers & Sisters flashback episode that will air on April 11th from 9-11pm. Egglesfield’s Auggie will last appear on Melrose Place next month. According to Soap Opera Digest,Cosgrove had to back out due to a scheduling conflict.

 — Jersey Shore shocker! Jenni “JWOWW” Farley appeared on Fox News’s web show, The Strategy Room and revealed that she isn’t really Italian…she’s half Spanish and Irish. Yeah, like “Farley” made her any more Sicilian. JWOWW also revealed that our girl Snooki is actually Chilean.

— Another shocker: Ronnie and Sammi are over.

— The CW may have picked up Supernatural for a sixth season, but creator Eric Kripke will be stepping down as showrunner. Kripke previously told Entertainment Weekly last August that he always intended a five-season run for the show.

— Looks like everyone has figured out Michael Ausiello’s latest blind item about feuding costars. Everyone pretty much suspects that former Wicked thespians Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel have asked the producers of Glee to not make them act opposite each other when the show returns in April.

— Super Channel has picked up the Canadian rights to TNT’s Southland. The pay channel will air all 7 episodes from its first season (which aired on NBC and CTV) but with extended scenes before airing the second season (which consists of 6 episodes).

— Check out the latest TV Casualty Podcast where Kat and I discuss Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains and The Bachelor and later Jen drops by to talk about last week’s episode of Lost. Listen to it here.

— The US (and therefore Canadian) networks are mostly airing reruns tonight except for NBC (Olympics) and FOX (Human Target and American Idol) so that means no new Modern Family or Ugly Betty tonight. I guess it’s time to catch up on some downloads.
