Lauren Graham’s Parenthood debuts tonight, Julie Benz cast on ABC pilot, No Glee tour in Canada and more

— Tonight marks the premiere of Lauren Graham’s new series, Parenthood which everyone is really excited about. The show is based on Ron Howard’s 1989 film and is the second television adaptation. The show also stars some other heavy hitters, we’ve got Peter Krause, Monica Potter, Erika Christensen, Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia and even Mae Whtiman (Ann from Arrested Development)…I guess they all try to make up for Dax Shepard. Here’s a clip of our former ‘Gilmore’ girl’s appearance on last night’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson:

— It sure looks like getting killed off Dexter was the best thing to happen to Julie Benz. ABC likes her so much that they’ve cast her as the female lead in their new drama pilot, No Ordinary Family (also starring The Shield’s Michael Chiklis). Sure, she’s been steaming things up on Desperate Housewives as of late, but she’ll always be Buffy’s Darla to me.

— It really sucks that the Glee tour isn’t hitting Canada…I’m also missing the NYC shows by like a week. The 6-night tour will feature Cory Monteith (Finn), Lea Michele (Rachel), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Asia), Mark Saling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Other Asian) and Dijon Talton (Matt)…what, no Shue?

Ghost Whisperer will soon celebrate its 100th episode…meanwhile, Ugly Betty is still cancelled and Jay Leno returned to the Tonight Show last night. No justice in this world I tell you. No justice.

— I’ve never cared for programming gems like Dancing with the Stars but they landed Buzz Aldrin?!?! Really? I hope Shannen Doherty rips Kate Gosselin to shreds.

Jersey Shore’s Vinny and Snooki (along with her boyfriend Emilio) re-enact the Purim-Party roof disaster (via MTV). This photo is seriously something my friends and I would do. Yeah, we’re horrible people but whatevs.
