Kelly Cutrone’s new gig, The Hour renamed and Childrens Hospital

Kelly Cutrone is teaming up with Gossip Girl’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage to develop a new scripted show about the fashion industries. Cutrone also tweeted about a mysterious new deal at MTV. Bravo and MTV have yet to announce whether or not there will be new seasons of either Kell On Earth or The City.

— CBC’s The Hour will become George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight when it returns on Monday, September 20th. The name change is a big hint that the show will no longer be a full hour.

— Last week, Kat and I discussed some new pilots in the 25th episode of The TV Casualty Podcast, you can check it out here. Our big fav was The Big C.

— Ever since I discovered the Canadian version of G4 – it’ quickly become one of my favourite channels. Not only does the it keep me up to date with the latest gadget and gaming news thanks to shows like EP Daily and US import Attack of the Show, but I can watch the Apatow TV hits (Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared) on a daily basis. All I ask is for the US equivalent to renew Chris Hardwick’s Web Soup!

Anyway, G4 is premiering Childrens Hospital this week (will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m.). This show started out as a web series in late 2008 and boasts a pretty impressive cast: Rob Corddry, Rob Huebel, Henry Winkler, Megan Mullally, Lake Bell, Jason Sudeikis, Malin Akerman and Ken Marino. Adult Swim picked up the series and repackaged it for television last year and it finally makes its Canadian debut tomorrow night. Here’s a promo:
