— If you haven’t already, you can check out my gallery for TV shows that are celebrating Halloween this year. The gallery has pictures from last night’s episode of Glee, tonight’s episode of Modern Family and tomorrow’s episodes of Community, The Office, Outsourced and The Vampire Diaries. Oh yeah, it’s even got the photo of The Simpsons’ Edward – who’ll be voiced by Daniel Radcliffe and looks like Robert Pattinson (that ep won’t air until Nov. 7). — Christopher Nolan told The Los Angeles Times that his third Batman film will be titled The Dark Knight Rises and that the Riddler or Mr. Freeze won’t be in the flick. Tom Hardy’s got a role in the movie and they’re also auditioning a big female role that could be Catwoman.
— Balthazar Getty will return to Brothers & Sisters as Tommy for the show’s 100th episode this January.
— MTV confirmed yesterday that The City is cancelled. On Monday, Whitney Port spoke with Ryan Seacrest and told him that “As of right now it doesn’t look like we’re doing it anymore.” Yesterday, MTV told The Hollywood Reporter that “The City will not be returning to MTV for season three” and that “Whitney has been a part of our family for many years and we wish her and the cast the best, and hope to collaborate with them again.” Whitney also mentions on her blog that she’ll be moving back to Los Angeles. I was kind of hoping for an MTV combo night with both Lauren and Whitney now that MTV’s producing Lauren Conrad’s new reality series.
— Audrina Patridge got voted off Dancing with the Stars last night but she’ll be taking her own reality show over to VH1. Audrina told Us Magazine that “the show with Mark Burnett got picked up by VH1 so the journey continues! It’s a reality show about me and my family. Everything that people have wondered about me, they’ll now get to see!” Well friends, it looks like our prayers will soon be answered.
— Apparently someone’s been hacking into the accounts of One Tree Hill’s Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Galeotti. A sonogram photo was stolen from Geleotti’s account which stated the sex of her unborn baby – all while the actress hadn’t even confirmed her pregnancy.
— So this (right up there) is the UK’s Marina and the Diamonds and this her video for Shampain. All I know is that her real name is Marina Diamandis (Greek for “diamonds”) but her stage name is Marina and the Diamonds (just like Florence + the machine). No, I don’t know why she spells Champaign with an ‘S’ – but enjoy:
