— Peter Jackson has finally revealed the cast of The Hobbit and it features a bunch of amazing British actors who’ve appeared on some of my favourite UK shows. They’ve cast Martin Freeman, from the original Office, as Bilbo Baggins while Richard Amitage(Guy of Gisborne from Robin Hood and Lucas on Spooks) will play Thorin Oakenshield (the leader of the Dwarves) and Thorin’s nephews will be played by Robert Kazinsky (Sean Slater from EastEnders) and Aidan Turner (Mitchell, the vampire, from Being Human).

— While NBC has announced full season pick ups for Chuck (yay!), ChaseThe EventLaw & Order: LA and Outsourced, CBS has gone ahead and picked up Hawaii Five-OMike & MollyBlue BloodsThe Defenders and Shit My Dad Says for the rest of the season.

Judith Light is set to replace Blythe Danner as one of Fitch’s (Peter Facinelli) moms next season on Nurse Jackie. Danner, who is unable to reprise her role due to a film commitment, appeared alongside Swoosie Kurtz as Fitch’s lesbian mothers in the first season.

— While Project Runway Canada is no more, the previous contestants seem to be doing really well for themselves. Season one winner Evan Biddell presented his new collection on Thursday at Toronto’s LG Fashion Week, as did season two contestant Brandon R. Dwyer. I got a chance to check Brandon’s Basch show and here are some pics. For more pictures from the show and LG Fashion Week, click here.
