The Best of 2010, Being Human USA, The Walking Dead set to return early? And more!

— In the latest (and final 2010 edition of) the TV Casualty Podcast, Kat and I counted down our Best and Worst television shows this past year. I wasn’t a big fan of MTV’s Teen Mom/16 & Pregnant franchise, or the Real Housewives of any state or city. I also expressed my disappointment with all the gimmicks on Glee and hope that it can go back to its early season one glory. As for my top picks, I went with Community, The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Modern Family and Parks & Recreation. You can listen to our podcast on the TV Casualty blog here or check it out on iTunes.

All My Children’s Rebecca Budig won Skating with the Stars.

— MTV will air a special about abortion next week, though, they won’t be able to call it “Almost Teen Mom” since Markai (the focus of the special), already appeared on 16 and Pregnant and decided to terminate her second pregnancy. Dr. Drew (of course!) will be on hand to deliver his advice. “No Easy Decision” will air on Tuesday, December 28th at 11:30 p.m.

— Although Warner Bros. originally denied reports that they were already casting for the Buffy reboot a few weeks ago, the rumors about Heather Morris being a contender were confirmed when she told Access Hollywood that she “almost peed” her pants when she found out because she was “so excited!” This is all still so blasphemous. Listen up, Warner Bros., just because you are considering Morris doesn’t make this reboot five-by-five.

Billy Baldwin will return to Gossip Girl as William van der Woodsen for at least two episodes in the New Year.

— Also, I haven’t watched Raising Hope but I might check out the episode where Mary Lynn Rajskub drops by. It’s scheduled to air in February.

— Apparently Bryan Cranston doesn’t mind that Breaking Bad’s new season won’t premiere until July. On the bright side? AMC might be bringing back The Walking Dead around that time (instead of late October) as well, so I guess this is a compromise?

— Once Family Guy airs its final Star Wars parody in May, they might move on to spoofing Star Trek.

Tracy Morgan will miss filming two episodes of 30 Rock because he’s recently undergone a kidney transplant. And no, there was no telethon for the kidney search.

— Could the woman responsible of killing Veronica Mars be on her way out at The CW?

— Although a ratings-hit in Canada, CBS hasn’t picked up any additional episodes of $#*! My Dad Says. The series will complete its run in January.

— MTV will be shooting an American version of the British hit, Inbetweeners next month in Orlando. With the US versions of Skins (also MTV) and Being Human (Syfy) – although both shot in Canada — one can’t help but wonder what British hit will be next to be Americanized? What about EastEnders? It could be set in the Brooklyn and they could film it in Toronto. Anyway, here are some cast shots of the North American version of “Being Human” (it’ll air on SPACE in Canada):

This blog is related shopping. New ideas, quality designs, sensible colors, and no-nonsense prices. I want to like the bag, but something is keeping me from liking it. Unfortunate because I own so many of his bags. This is really nice blog… Chokolade
