Audrina returns to MTV, Is the City Next? And more!

— I know I’m not alone when I say this, but I’m seriously missing The Hills and while Khloe and Lamar looks much more promising in the “scripted” drama department than Kourtney and Kim Take New York, I’m still suffering from the lack of beautifully edited establishing shots and catchy music. So maybe our hope lies with Audrina Patridge? The former Hills starlet makes her debut tonight south of the border on VH1’s Audrina. As for us Canadians, MTV will air the Mark Burnett-produced series beginning this Thursday, April 21 at 10 p.m. (sadly, there’s no After Show as Dan and Jessi have moved on). The show will follow Audrina as she pursues modeling, acting, her family life and her relationship with BMX riding “bad boy” Corey Bohan (they’ve since broken up). While we’ve never really cared for Audrina’s problems outside Justin Bobby, the issues between Audrina’s mother and sister Casey could be a big draw. Some of you may remember Mother Patridge’s drunken rant against The Hills and Lauren Conrad when Audrina was voted off Dancing with the Stars, if not check it out here.

— Speaking of LC, Audrina’s claiming that Lauren and Justin Bobby DID in fact hook up!

— Looks like all hope isn’t lost, there are rumors that MTV might resurrect The City with some of The Hills girls.

— HBO’s Game of Thrones premieres tonight. Kat and I have already seen the first six episodes. You can check out our review on the latest edition of The TV Casualty Podcast here. We also talk about the midseason return of The Vampire Diaries and the premiere of Happy Endings.

— I got to do a big Scream gallery this past week. After checking out the original trilogy again, I noticed that pretty much everyone was in the first three films. Some might even surprise you like Joshua Jackson! You can check it out here
