Bell Media has announced its acquisitions for the CTV and CTV Two Fall 2011 schedules. Once again, the main network is ABC- heavy, with Charlie’s Angels landing a plum 7 p.m. pre-release on Thursday nights – the busiest night in TV, while they’ll be sharing The X Factor with CTV Two. Other new series highlights include Whitney (starring Chelsea Lately roundtable mainstay Whitney Cummings), Once Upon A Time and Pan Am. Over at CTV Two (formerly ‘A’), some highlights include Up All Night (starring Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph and Christina Applegate) and Free Agents (Hank Azaria, Natasha Leggero, Kathryn Hahn and Anthony Head). They’ll keep the pre-release of The Vampire Diaries at 7 p.m. on Thursday nights, but will air America’s Next Top Model a day later than The CW. Moving over from CTV are Law & Order: SVU and CSI: Miami. So looks like CTV Two is nothing revolutionary (or CW heavy), it’s just a name change.
