What to Watch: The Mindy Project Arrow, Suburgatory and more

Here are my five picks for this week – we’ve got the returns of Being Human (North American version) and Suburgatory while The Mindy Project crew head to Los Angeles.

Being Human (Monday, January 13 at 9 p.m. on Space)
The Montreal-shot series returns for its fourth season tonight with the roommates coping with Josh who is now permanently a wolf, but could the full moon have a different effect on him? Meanwhile, Aidan is haunted by his past, including an elusive woman who looks like his former wife.

The Mindy Project (Tuesday, January 14 at 9:30 p.m. on City and Fox)
Jeremy sends Mindy, Danny, Peter and Morgan to Los Angeles to receive cosmetic injectable certification. Peter tries to track down the object of his affection, Maria Menounos while Mindy runs into Casey.

Arrow (Wednesday, January 15 at 8 p.m. on CTV and The CW)
In the first episode of 2014, Oliver must tackle a new threat to the city when bombs start to go off in Starling City. Lauren becomes suspicious of Sebastian (Kevin Alejandro) and after Donner (Orphan Black’s Dylan Bruce) refuses to help her investigate, she turns to Arrow for help.

Suburgatory (Wednesday, January 15 at 8:30 p.m. on ABC; Thursday at 10 p.m. on City)
In the third season premiere, George tries to rebuild his relationship with Tessa when her mom disappears. Delia shuns Dallas after her break-up with George.

Community (Thursday, January 16 at 8 p.m. on City and NBC)
After Pierce’s unexpected passing, a team of investigators headed by Justified’s Walter Goggins, arrive at Greendale to submit the study group to lie detector tests before the can be considered for distribution under the will. Tensions mount as the group members learn a little more about each other than they wished.
