Venue: The Garrison
The vibe: We were actually excited to check out the quesadilla’s at The Garrison, so we got there early. Unfortunately, they were short staffed so we were unable to order food, let alone a drink. The vibe was much better in the back at the start of the show.

How was it? It’s sad that some people in 2014 still insist, “Women aren’t funny.” Those fools should all just be given a free pass to JFL42 so they can eat crow. As someone with an open mind, it’s always a shock to discover that people actually still think this way, so much so that Nikki Glaser has to point it out in her act.
Another problem plaguing women: men who tell them to smile. Guys, don’t do it. It is a bit rape-y when you hear Nikki joke about it. So much insight into the mind of a modern woman. On behalf of men everywhere, I’m sorry Nikki.
Dear JFL, I would also like to add that it’s about time that Sabrina Jalees got her own showcase. She’s great opener, but we’d love to see her perform a full set. Thanks!
