In an interview with the National Post, Handler addressed some of the questions we all have had about her new Netflix talk show, which is set to premiere in 2016. She’s adopting a “wait-and-see” approach based on what the audience reaction will be to this special as well as the documentaries she has planned for 2015.

As for whether or not she was up for David Letterman’s Late Show gig on CBS, “Netflix was the only place I had any interest in going and that’s where I ended up. If I wanted to be at CBS, I would.” Click here to read the full interview.

— Chelsea Handler also revealed to Dave Grohl that she hated interviewing reality TV stars on Chelsea Lately.

— CBS has renewed Under the Dome and Extant for new seasons set to air next summer but has cancelled Reckless.

TV Line reports that Andy Mientus (Smash) will appear as Pied Piper/Hartley Rathaway on The Flash  — a hearing impaired and the first openly gay DC Comics villain.

Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario will guest star on fiancé Patrick J. Adams’ show, Suits! She’ll play the role of Claire, a woman from Mike’s past when the USA Network / Bravo (Canada) series returns in early 2015.

— Channel 4 has pulled the plug on their cult hit Utopia after just two seasons (or series as they call it over the pond). HBO is actually planning a remake with Gone Girl’s David Fincher attached. Not to be confused with that horrible Fox reality show.

Matt Lauria doesn’t really want to explain the logistics of the Parenthood sex scene last season in the hospital where his character Ryan knocked Amber up.

Peter Reckell could be headed back to Days of our Lives! The actor took to Twitter to thank fans for their patience and hopes to have some answers about his return to the sudser as Bo Brady sometime next week. The actor left the series in 2012.

— Looks like the bandages come off next week as General Hospital has just released a new promo celebrating Billy Miller’s succession in the role of Jason Morgan (back to Quartermaine?). Also, points for that white t-shirt. White is a shade after all.
