— TV Guide outlined Alison Sweeney’s exit from Days of our Lives with an exclusive interview with the star. In story, look for Sami to leave Salem with all of her children on the October 30th episode of the Global and NBC soap when studio executives want to put her story on screen.
Yes – all of Sami’s kids will leave Salem with her. Since Will wrote the expose that got Sami noticed, Guy Wilson will be offscreen for a few weeks.
How do you feel soap fans? Is this how you wanted Sami to leave Salem after nearly 22 years of scandal, blackmail, passion and paternity tampering? Would you have preferred she went to search for an alive EJ (James Scott) after discovering that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) took EJ’s body from the morgue? Or move away to protect her children from the DiMeras?
Fear not Sami fans, Sweeney hinted that she’s game to return for the soap’s 50th anniversary next November!
