Soap stars turned Real Housewives Eileen Davidson (Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless) and Lisa Rinna (Days of our Lives, Melrose Place) aren’t the only ones headed to reality TV, it has been announced that a number of daytime and primetime vixens are joining forces for a new docu-series called Queens of Drama, which will air on POP, the rebranded American cable network, TVGN (which is co-owned by CBS and re-airs The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless), which launches in early 2015.
Vanessa Marcil (General Hospital, Beverly Hills 90210, Las Vegas), Lindsay Hartley (All My Children, Days of our Lives, Passions), Crystal Hunt (Guiding Light, One Life to Live), Chrystee Pharris (Passions, General Hospital) and Hunter
Tylo Archila (The Bold and the Beautiful) will star on the series while Knots Landing and current General Hospital guest star Donna Mills will make special appearances.
The series will capture the cast as they work together (in front and behind the camera) to develop, pitch and produce a new drama series, which they hope to land a pilot deal by the end of the season.
No word yet when the series will debut in 2015 or if a Canadian broadcaster will pick it up.
