— ABC has released new details of General Hospital’s Fan February campaign! Viewers will get the chance to bring back a favourite GH character. While many would be quick to ask for the returns of either Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) or Laura (Genie Francis), ABC is asking fans to vote on a few characters that weren’t included in the show’s 50th anniversary celebration that saw the returns of many former Port Charles residents.
Beginning today at ABC.com, fans can vote to bring back either Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis), Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols), Mike Corbin (Ron Hale) or Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder)… And have them featured during the Nurses Ball in May. You’ve until February 13th to vote.
— Actor Tony Stark (cool name, eh?) appeared as a recast Kevin Collins last week when Jon Lindstrom was busy filming the second season of HBO’s True Detective. The actor may have looked familiar to you Seinfeld fans…
— Despite online rumours, a rep for The Young and the Restless has told Soaps In Depth that the show has not recast the role of Dru (previously played by Victoria Rowell) with Dynasty actress Troy Beyer.
— We’re sending positive vibes out to The Bold and the Beautiful’s Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) who was run over by a car on Monday in Los Angeles. Per TMZ, the actress was hit while walking down a sidewalk. The actress suffered two broken legs and was in surgery when this post was written.

Baby Daddy’s Danny (Derek Theler) is offered a cameo on GH and Riley (Chelsea Kane) is ecstatic that he’ll be working alongside Kelly Monaco (who will play an exaggerated version of herself). The episode airs Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT on ABC Spark in Canada and ABC Family in the U.S.
In the second part of the Baby Daddy / General Hospital crossover airing on Feb. 14th on Citytv and ABC: Theler will appear as Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) colleague in scenes with Sam (Monaco) while Melissa Peterman will play a friend of Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) from Bensonhurst.
— The ABC promotion for GH doesn’t end there… Cristela star and GH fan, Cristela Alonzo will appear on the Feb. 13th episode of GH as Assistant District Attorney Natalia Rodriguez who shares scenes with Ryan Peavey’s Nathan West as their characters discuss loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
