Fans who weren’t able to watch the 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards on April 26 can now watch the ceremony online. Many soap fans were unable to watch the ceremony live on Pop because their carriers did not carry the specialty cable network, or because the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) failed to sign a deal with a Canadian broadcaster.
As of today, Canadians as well as fans around the world can watch the entire ceremony right here as NATAS has uploaded the special on YouTube (better late than never).
In addition to the trophies, this year’s highlights from the Daytime Emmys include a tribute to the upcoming 50th anniversary of Days of our Lives, a Lifetime Achievement Award to Betty White, Joan Rivers is remembered by her daughter Melissa, new fun soap categories like Best Wedding Disaster and the on-stage reunion of General Hospital‘s Luke and Laura!
