Aziz Ansari‘s Netflix comedy series has been granted a title and release date. Masters of None will hit the streaming service on Friday, November 6th. The series will be about Dev (Ansari), “a 30-year-old actor who has trouble decided what he wants to eat, much less the pathway to the rest of his life.”

— Netflix has also renewed Bojack Horseman for a third season.

The Mindy Project has cast Ajay Mehta (Royal Pains) and Sakina Jaffrey (Sleepy Hollow) as Mindy’s parents while Garrett Dillahunt (Raising Hope) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will also appear when the fourth season premieres on City (in Canada) and Hulu (in the U.S.) later this year.

All My Children and CSI: Miami grad Eva LaRue has been cast in Fuller House as Danny Tanner’s new wife. Looks like there’s still hope for the Olsen twins to join the Full House revival. The first episode began production last week.

— Rogers customers with Netbox 2.0 and 3.0 will have a new guide beginning today. It’s supposed to make finding programming (whether it’s airing on TV or On Demand) easier and faster to find and record.

— While the season six finale of Rookie Blue airs tomorrow (Wednesday, July 29) on Global, there’s still no word yet if it’ll be back for a
seventh season.

Jake Gyllenhaal‘s Demolition will open the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.

— Fans and those who didn’t get a chance to watch Empire the first time around can catch up before the second season premieres this fall as it will begin streaming on Shomi this August.

True Detective‘s Rachel McAdams is in talks for Marvel’s Doctor Strange.

— In case you missed it, here’s the pitch that convinced ABC to make a new show with The Muppets.
