MTV Canada announces July premieres (without Scream), Stephen Colbert does public access with Eminem and more

— MTV in Canada has announced the shows premiering this month and the U.S. network’s Scream adaptation didn’t make the cut. Season 4B ofCatfish will premiere Wednesday, July 8 at 10 p.m. ET, Teen Mom 2 returns Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m. ET, new series One Bad Choice will also premiere on July 9 at 11 p.m. ET while America’s Best Dance Crew returns Wednesday, July 29 at 11 p.m. ET. The final season of Degrassi airing on MTV will premiere Monday, July 20 at 9 p.m. ET and will air weeknights until the two-part finale on Friday, July 31. Degrassi moves to Family Channel and Netflix in 2016.

— Meanwhile, Scream did just OK in the ratings State-side.

Extant returned to a series low in the U.S. last
night.

— NBC has renewed a show you haven’t watched, I Can Do That for a second season.

— Sadness: Maria is leaving Sesame Street.

NeNe Leakes is leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta but will pop up on ABC’s To Tell the Truth alongside Betty White and Anthony Anderson.

— All 18 seasons of South Park were added to CraveTV on Canada Day.

Masters of Sex and Ray Donovan return on Sunday, July 12th. Canadians have a sneak peek to the season premieres via The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Movie Central (Western Canada).

— Jace bullied Steve on Big Brother. No worries because he’s most
likely leaving tonight.
