— Days of our Lives has been doing a stellar job leading up to it’s 50th anniversary. Not only have recent weeks shown ratings growth but fan and critics have been praising the Global and NBC soap. The only strange part was being able to fathom the concept that both the Brady and Horton clans were so quick to celebrate Salem’s bicentennial and Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) wedding so soon after Will was brutally murdered by the Necktie Killer.
From Bo (Peter Reckell) and Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) return to Salem, the nostalgia of Salem super couples, a throwback to Julie’s (Susan Hayes) shoplifting and Hope’s struggle with Aidan (Daniel Cosgrove), the Friday (Nov. 6) episode was exciting to watch… Oh and that’s not all, we got the return of Alison Sweeney’s Sami at Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John’s (Drake Hogestyn). Last week also saw the return of Jason Cook’s Shawn Douglas, the introduction of the aged teen scene, Abigail (Kate Mansi) was abducted by her fiancé, the real Necktie Killer, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Abe (James Reynolds) even got himself a newfound daughter, Lani (Sal Towers).
So what’s in store for the rest of the week on Days of our Lives? Hope struggles to cope with the aftermath of all that has happened to her. Once he’s exonerated, Chad (Billy Flynn) goes looking for Abigail. Hope learns the truth about Bo’s disappearance for the past several years. A huge rift occurs between Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and Chase (Jonathon McClendon). Abigail pleads with Ben to take her to a hospital, fearing that she may lose the baby.

— Bo receives devastating news on Monday, Nov. 16. A furious Marlena confronts Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) about Sami’s kidnapping. On Wednesday, Nov. 18: After years being kept apart, Bo and Hope finally make love! John and Marlena figure out a way to gain leverage against the DiMeras. On Friday, Nov. 20: Bo makes a heartbreaking confession to Hope. Steve and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) reconnect over a tragic situation.
