11.22.63, which is J.J. Abrams’ adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, will premiere on Super Channel next month.

The limited series stars James Franco as a teacher who accidentally travels back in time, to 1958, and attempts to prevent the assassination of JFK but then becomes attached to the life he has made for himself in the past.

Josh Duhamel, Constance Towers, Sarah Gadon, Cherry Jones, Chris Cooper and T.R. Knight also star in the 8-episode series which was shot throughout Ontario (Hespeler, Guelph, Ayr and Hamilton) as well as Dallas, Texas.

“We are very excited to bring this must-see event series our subscribers,” said Sandy Perkins, Vice President of Programming for Super Channel. “11.22.63 is an epic thriller that takes viewers on a journey back in time to a pivotal turning point in American history, offering something for everyone with mystery, romance, time-travel and an incredible ensemble cast.”

11.22.63 premieres as a two-hour special on Wednesday, February 17 at 9 p.m. ET (on SC1) and will be made available on Super Channel On Demand the following day. In the U.S., the series will be streamed on Hulu beginning Feb. 15.
