HBO announced on Tuesday (June 14) that the hit comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm starring Larry David would be returning for a ninth season.
‘We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming.
The eight season of Curb Your Enthusiasm aired in the summer of 2011. David starred and co-wrote the HBO film Clear History which aired on the speciality network in 2013.
When asked why he decided to come back, David said, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.”
