@ THE MOVIES: Me Before You

me before you movie review

Cast: Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin, Charles Dance, Janet McTeer, Brendan Coyle

Director: Thea Sharrock

Writers: Jojo Moyes (screenplay)

Release: June 3

Based On: The novel by Jojo Moyes

The Deal: Game of Thrones’ Amelia Clarke is a small town girl who forms an unlikely bond with a recently paralyzed man — played by Hunger Games franchises’ Sam Claflin — who she is taking care of.

First things first as GoT is still airing, strange but great to see Clarke and Dance sharing the same screen together.

If you’ve got to see one romantic film this summer, this is it. It’s easy to fall into and root for these characters. Satisfying ending. Okay, maybe I’m just emotional right now?

Rating: 3.5/5
