Homeland Returns for Season 6 on Super Channel

Homeland will return for its sixth season on Super Channel in Canada beginning Sunday, January 15 at 9 p.m. ET (on SC3).

The new season picks up several months following the events of season six with Carrie (Claire Danes) living in New York City and is working for a foundation whose efforts are to provide aid to Muslims living in the U.S. The entire season will take place between Election Day and the Presidential Inauguration.

Returning for the new season alongside Danes are Mandy Patinkin as Saul, Rupert Fiend as Quinn and F. Murray Abraham as Dar Adal. Elizabeth Marvel (House of Cards) joins the cast as President-Elect Elizabeth Keane. Guest stars this season include Sebastian Koch, Maury Sterling, Hill Harper, Patrick Sabongui, Robert Knepper and Dominic Fumusa.

Season six will consist of 12 episodes. The premiere was made available online in the U.S. via Showtime.

Homeland’s fifth season is currently re-airing on The Movie Network in Canada, with two episodes airing each Monday.

Each episode of season six will be available on Super Channel On Demand, the day following its broadcast.
