Days of our Lives veterans Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug and Julie Williams) were honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award and took the stage to reflect on amazing daytime history, but to also inspire those in attendance to work hard on breaking boundaries and daring to tell stories that reflect today’s society — just as soap operas did during their “golden age.”
