Canadians hoping to catch the third season of Animal Kingdom will have to wait a little bit longer. Bell Media which airs the series on Bravo has yet to confirm an airdate for the new season, which premiered on May 29 on TNT in the U.S.

Update (May 1, 2019): Good news for Netflix watchers — Animal Kingdom’s third season will be available on the streaming platform in Canada beginning Wednesday, May 29.
The second season of Animal Kingdom ended with Baz (Scott Speedman) being shot while fleeing to Mexico after framing Smurf (Ellen Barkin) for murder. The new season will open with Smurf still in jail and J (Finn Cole) in charge of the family business. Deran’s (Jake Weary) drifter father, Billy (Denis Leary joins the cast) comes back to town to make amends but may have ulterior motives. Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Molly Gordon and Carolina Guerra also star.
