This week on General Hospital: This year’s Nurses Ball comes to an end this week as Lucy (Lynn Herring) is apologetic on Monday (May 21). Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) walks a fine line. Anna (Finola Hughes) grows anxious. Peter (Wes Ramsey) stays by Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) side. Kiki (Hayley Erin) is misunderstood. Peter feels deceived on Tuesday (May 22). Finn (Michael Easton) seeks answers. Sam (Kelly Monaco) tries to help. Nina (Michelle Stafford) isn’t interested. Kiki finds comfort in an old friend.

On Wednesday (May 23), Valentin crosses Lulu (Emme Rylan). Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has had enough. Drew (Billy Miller) pays his respect. Maxie is disheartened. Kiki acts impulsively. Carly is upset on Thursday (May 24). Nelle (Chloe Lanier) gets the support she craves. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) quickly regrets her actions. Griffin (Matt Cohen) gets more than he bargained for. Oscar (Garrett Stitt) makes a pact with Josslyn (Eden McCoy).

Sonny (Maurice Benard) is tormented on Friday (May 25). Valentin tries his best. Anna is distraught. Peter has an ace up his sleeve.

Pre-Emption: GH is pre-empted on Monday, May 28, due to Memorial Day in the U.S. New episodes resume on Tuesday, May 29.

Recast: Look for Molly Burnett to fill in for Kirsten Storms as Maxie on June 1 and 4 (Storms was sick). Burnett previously filled in as Maxie in July 2016.

Ratings: Might the powers at be at General Hospital want to finally listen to fans and give them the kind of stories they are craving for? The ABC soap was beat by NBC’s Days of our Lives during the week of April 30.
