Private Eyes is back with the second half of season two beginning Sunday, May 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Global.
The nine new episodes features Shade and Angie (Jason Priestley and Cindy Simpson) taking on new cases while settling with new romantic partners — Shade’s with Mel (One Life to Live’s Bree Williamson) while Angie’s back together with Dr. Ken (Mark Ghanimé).
Picking up where things left off last summer, the midseason premiere has Shade being hired by a boxer to prove that a fight was fixed where he realizes that the boxer’s manger was the same one who made off with Shade’s money. The episode will feature appearances by George Chuvalo and Toronto radio personalities Fred “Fearless Fred” Kennedy (102.1 The Edge) and Ryan Parker (Q107).
Once again, Shade and Angie are joined by sidekicks Zoe (Samantha Wan), Detective Mazhari (Ennis Esmer) along with Jules (Jordyn Negri), Don (Barry Flatman) and Becca (Nicole DeBoar), while Mimi Kuzyk (UnREAL) is back as Angie’s mother, Nora.
Guest stars on tap for the rest of the summer season include Peter MacNeill (Call Me Fitz), Colin Ferguson (Eureka), Laura Vandervoort (Bitten) and Lucas Bryant (Haven). The June 3rd episode will also be set at Medieval Times!
A third season of Private Eyes is currently under production.
