Bell Media has announced that J.J. Abrams’ Castle Rock is coming to both Space and CraveTV this month.
The 10-episode anthology series will premiere on Wednesday, July 25, at 9 p.m. ET on Space, with three episodes. The episodes will also stream simultaneously on CraveTV. Episodes will then air weekly on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning August 1 on Space and CraveTV. The Canadian premiere will coincide of the series’ American premiere on Hulu, where it will also debut with three episodes on July 25.
Inspired by the Stephen King universe, Castle Rock will intertwine characters and themes from King’s beloved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of the fictional Maine town.

An oozing, terrifying ride, Castle Rock is a sensation just waiting to be happen,” said Mike Cosentino, Bell Media’s President of Content and Programming. “Space is thrilled to partner with CraveTV to simultaneously deliver this thriller exclusively to Canadian television and streaming audiences in a three-part premiere event.”
For those unfamiliar, the fictional Castle Rock, Maine, has figured prominently in some of King’s most popular works including Cujo, The Dark Half, IT, Needful Things, The Body, while short stories like Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to it.
Castle Rock stars André Holland (Moonlight), Melanie Lynskey (Togetherness), Bill Skarsgård (It), while Jane Levy (Suburgatory), Sissy Spacek (Carrie), and Scott Glenn (The Leftovers) guest star. Joining Abrams are producers are Manhattan’s Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason, Westworld’s Ben Stephenson, Halt and Catch Fire’s Mark Lafferty and The Good Fight’s Liz Glotzer.
Castle Rock premieres July 25 at 9 p.m. ET on Space and CraveTV in Canada.
