Haleigh Broucher was the first houseguest to be evicted during this past Thursday’s (September 13) special double-eviction episode. We caught up with Haleigh before she was sent to the jury house to chat about this season’s biggest twist, her dream date with Faysal and who she’d like to see make it to the end.

Did you have any hope to stay in the house or did you know from the start that the house was going to keep Sam?

I knew from the start that the house was going to keep Sam. The only hope that I had was in the veto, but I did absolutely terrible in that. While It would have been nice to have a little hope, I knew rationally it did not make any sense to keep me over her.

How did you campaign against Sam this week? It couldn’t have been easy with the alliances the way they were and this was also your third week on the block.

I kind of knew my back was against the wall, so my only thought in this game was that maybe people would be scared of Sam’s unpredictability. I also tried to mend relationships that I had ruined earlier in the game.

From your perspective, what was the biggest move, twist or blindside this season?

The hacker competition was definitely the biggest twist for me and it was my downfall in this game in a lot of ways. There was nothing positive that came from the hacker for me. Stupid, unexpected twist.

Is there any other player that you wish you may have had the chance to work with?

It would have been really cool to have had Tyler’s trust and loyalty but I knew early on that I would never have that and why I do not know. There was some kind of disconnect and some kind of distrust early on in the game. It would have been really cool for us to work together — obviously before I put him up and he put me up.

Describe to us your perfect dream date with Faysal outside of the Big Brother house!

My perfect dream date with Fessy would start around 11:45 a.m. where we would grab a late brunch. We would then go to the beach and spend our day with our toes in the water drinking various drinks. We would then go to a movie, go to a piano bar, go dance. He would drop me off at around 12:45 a.m. I would take a hot bath and go to bed.

Who do you think has played the best game so far?

I think Kaycee has done a very good job at positioning herself in the game. I think Brett is doing something good. I’ll throw Angela in there as well because she is protected by Tyler and Kaycee… So, she is doing something right.

Who would you like to see go far? Is there someone you don’t want to see go far?

There is no one that I do not want to win. I think that everyone left in this game has played very well, so I would be happy with any of these people in the top two. There is a bitter part of me that wants JC and Sam to take it to the end because that would mean that the three people against me wouldn’t make it to the end.

Big Brother airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Global and CBS.
