Canadians will get a chance to watch BBC thriller Informer beginning Friday, January 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
Informer is an intense six-episode series about Raza (Nabhaan Riswan), a second generation British-Pakistani man from East London who is coerced by Counter-Terrorism officer Gabe (Paddy Considine) into informing for him. Bel Powley also stars as Holly, Gabe’s ambitious partner, whose curiosity could be a threat to him.
“Informer tells a story about identity in a world where lines are increasingly being drawn and sides are being taken. What happens when you or your friends, family or neighbours fall on the wrong side of that line and the person becomes political?”
