Good Girls is back for its second season on Sunday, March 3, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
Although the series is not simulcast by a Canadian broadcaster, Canadian fans who didn’t tune in to the series on NBC during its first season were able to discover it when it arrived on Netflix in Canada. It is expected that Netflix will offer the second season to Canadians when it completes its broadcast run on NBC. Canadians without NBC will have to wait until then for new episodes.
Good Girls’ second season has the women dealing with the consequences of their criminal behaviour from the first season with Beth (Christina Hendricks) coming home in the season finale thinking that she had Rio (Manny Montana) and his gang arrested, only to find him in her dining room with a gun pointed at her beaten husband Dean (Matthew Lillard) — taunting her to pull the trigger. We’ll finally find out what happened when she pulled that trigger in the season premiere.
We’ll also find out how Ruby (Retta) and Stan’s (Reno Wilson) marriage is doing after he discovered the truth about his wife robbing the grocery store. Things get further complicated when Agent Turner (James Lesure) discovers Stan’s connection to the women. The first two episodes of the new season will also have Annie (Mae Whitman) and Gregg (Zach Gilford) find themselves in an awkward situation with Nancy (Sally Pressman).
