CTV’s new comedy series Jann has received a special debut through digital platforms and on demand ahead of its March 20th debut.

The six-part half-hour comedy series has Jann Arden playing a fictionalized version of herself, where she’s a songwriter of a “certain age” who is in severe denial that her music career is fading away. Jann’s family life is also in shambles as she finds herself single, faces tension with her sister, and her mother is showing early signs of memory loss… But could a brand-new manager help her rebrand her image and life?

Jann also stars Zoie Palmer (Dark Matter), Deborah Grover (Anne with an ‘E’), Patrick Gilmore (Travelers), Elena Juatco (Open Heart), Jason Blicker (F/X: The Series), Sharon Taylor (Bad Blood) and Alexa Rose Steele (Degrassi). Feist guest stars in the first episode.

Check out the first episode of Jann below!

Jann premieres on Wenesday, March 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. The first episode, “The Big House,” is now available on demand and is streaming on CTV.ca, Crave, CTV’s YouTube page, and on iTunes.
