Cory Kennedy was the surprising third nominee on Thursday (April 18) night’s episode of Big Brother Canada after Secret Assassin Adam put Cory up on the block alongside Head of Household Mark’s nominations: Damien and Estefania. Cory was voted out and sent to the jury house. We caught up with Cory following her eviction to see if she had any suspicions on who the Secret Assassin was and who she thinks is the most well-positioned player in the house right now.
Did you have any suspicions that it was Adam who nominated?
Yeah, I knew it was Adam! Adam and Dane are the only two people who are in that archive room the most… Digging around. I should have gone into the room. After the week progressed and I saw the relationships Dane had with the others on the block, it wouldn’t have made sense for him to put me on the block and expose his relationships this early… Especially with jury just starting. He has a lot of explaining to do. Like, a lot! So yeah, I knew it was Adam.
You were part of two twists this season. The first twist brought you into the house and the latest twist was responsible for your eviction. How do you feel about these twists? Do you feel a bit cheated for not being able to play the game in a more “traditional” sense?
No, because twists are part of this game. Expect the unexpected! I was able to adapt, which is why I came into the game but I wasn’t able to adapt quick enough with the second twist – that’s why I’m gone.
Who was the easiest houseguest for you to connect with?
Anthony – hands down. We have similar views on the game and similar personalities. We just vibed on a social standpoint and a game standpoint.
What do you think was your biggest move in the house?
Honestly, my biggest move in the house was the one that no one saw… The fact that I was able to make those final two deals in 24 hours and not have one person expose me for them, the entire game. That is definitely my biggest move. Not Sam.
Who was the hardest houseguest for you to connect with?
The hardest houseguest to connect with was Estefania because our values don’t line up. Just the way we view things… Yeah, she’s an academic. I guess what’s important to me is different than what is important to her.
Who do you think is the most well-positioned player in the house right now?
I’m going to say Estefania because of after what happened tonight, there is going to be some words said and battles had… None of them are going to involve her.
