General Hospital has tapped Cynthia Watros as the new Nina Reeves, replacing Michelle Stafford who is exiting the ABC/Cityv soap to return to The Young and the Restless as Phyllis. Stafford originated the role of Nina in 2014.

Watros is well-known for her daytime roles on Guiding Light (as Annie Dutton from 1994-1998), Another World (a temp Vicky Hudson in 1998) and The Young and the Restless (Kelly Andrews from 2013-2014). The actress’ primetime roles include Titus, Lost and Finding Carter. People reports that the actress will begin taping at GH in early June.

This week on General Hospital: Sam (Kelly Monaco) manipulates Shiloh on Monday (April 15). Michael (Chad Duel) puts two and two together. Franco (Roger Howarth) and Cameron (William Lipton) butt heads. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) looks to Nora (Hilary B. Smith) for help. Spencer’s (Nicholas Bechtel) plan backfires.

Jason (Steve Burton) learns about Brad’s (Parry Shen) allegiance to Dawn of Day. Sonny (Maurice Benard) disagrees with Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Michael is sympathetic. Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) come together. Franco bursts in on Nina (Michelle Stafford).

On Wednesday (April 17), Sonny cautions Jason. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) learns that Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) got help from Julian (William deVry). Carly (Laura Wright) is moved to tears. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) gets the Quartermaine mansion ready for a guest. Anna (Finola Hughes) considers her options.

Jordan (Brianna Nicole Henry) meets with Franco on Thursday (April 18). Ava (Maura West) calls Scott (Kin Shriner) for help. Laura (Genie Francis) confuses on what’s important. Curtis (Donnell Turner) gets a lead. Sasha (Sofia Mattson) grow closer.

On Friday (April 19), Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) gets a warm invitation. Ava is rejected. Shiloh confronts Jason. Molly (Haley Pullos) grows concerned that Kristina may be missing. Carly introduces herself to Sasha.

Here’s what’s coming up in Port Charles during the week of April 22:
