CBS All Access’ The Twilight Zone reboot hosted and narrated by Oscar-winning Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us) will have its Canadian premiere this Thursday, April 4, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Citytv with two back-to-back episodes – “The Comedian” and “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.”
Produced by Peele and Simon Kinberg (X-Men), the new incarnation of the classic anthology series is set to bring the original show’s legacy of socially conscious storytelling for a modern-day audience by exploring the human condition and holding a lens up to the culture of our times.
The Twilight Zone’s 10-episode first season was filmed in Vancouver and will feature Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Chris Diamantopoulos, Taissa Farmiga, James Frain, Ginnifer Goodwin, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, John Larroquette, Sanaa Lathan, Tracy Morgan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Allison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, and Steve Yeun.
Following this week’s 2-episode premiere, new episodes of The Twilight Zone will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Citytv. Full episodes, as well as extras, will be available on Citytv.com following its broadcast debut, as well as on demand and through the Citytv app for iOS, Android and fourth-generation Apple TV. In the U.S., the series made its debut on CBS All Access on Monday, April 1, with two episodes. New episodes will debut weekly in the U.S. each Thursday beginning April 11.
The Twilight Zone premieres Thursday, April 4, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Citytv in Canada.
