Surprise, marshmallows! The Veronica Mars revival is now streaming on Crave in Canada — one week ahead of its original planned premiere on July 26.
Starring Kristen Bell, the eight-episode fourth season of Veronica Mars has spring breakers getting murdered in Neptune, drying up the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. Mars Investigation is hired by one of the victims’ parents to find their son’s killer, leaving Veronica drawn into a spiraling mystery that pits the wealthy elites who would much rather put an end to all the out-of-towner partying going up against the hard-working class that relies upon the influx of cash from the partiers.
Returning stars include Enrico Colantoni (Keith), Jason Dohring (Logan), Percy Daggs III (Wallace), Ryan Hansen (Dick), Francis Capra (Weevil), Max Greenfield (Leo), Daran Norris (Cliff), Ken Marino (Vinnie), David Starzyk (Big Dick), Ryan Devlin (Mercer), Julie Gonzalo (Parker), and James Jordan (Tim Foyle). The revival will also welcome J. K. Simmons, Patton Oswalt, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Clifton Collins Jr., Dawn Lewis, Tyler Alvarez, Mary McDonnell, and Izabela Vidovic.
The first two seasons of Veronica Mars aired on UPN from 2004-2006 with the third season airing on The CW in 2006-2007. The fan-funded feature film premiered on March 14, 2014.
