It’s time to head back to everyone’s favourite zip code as BH90210 debuts this week!
The original cast of Fox’s Beverly Hills, 90210, including Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, and Ian Ziering reunite in BH90210 where they play “heightened” versions of themselves as the actors are called upon to reboot their classic series which ended its run 19 years ago.
Doherty says she decided to take part in the reunion project as a way to honour co-star Luke Perry who sadly passed away earlier this year. “I wasn’t attached [before Perry’s death]… and it wasn’t long after he passed that I finally was like, ‘OK, yes,” says the actress to ET Canada.
Global will once again be the Canadian broadcast home of the latest incarnation of the “90210” franchise. The original series aired on the Canadian network from 1990-2000, as did its spinoff, 90210 (2008-2013).
BH90210 will have six hourlong episodes that premiere on Global this Wednesday, August 7, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
