There’s a lot coming to Crave this month, including the second season of HBO’s Emmy nominated Succession on Sunday, August 11, at 9 p.m. ET.
Succession’s second season continues to follow the Roy family, led by patriarch Logan (Brian Cox), as they struggle to retain control of their empire. While the future looks increasingly uncertain, it’s the past that threatens to ultimately destroy them. The series also stars Jeremy Strong, Hiam Abbass, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Peter Friedman, Rob Yang, J. Smith Cameron, Dagmara Dominczyk, and Arian Moayed.

- A Black Lady Sketch Show (HBO; Friday, August 2 at Midnight ET): Starring and executive produced by Robin Thede and executive produced by Insecure’s Issa Rae. Sketches include Thede, Ashley Nicole Black (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), Gabrielle Dennis (Insecure), and Quinta Brunson (Lazor Wulf).
- Becoming A God in Central Florida (Showtime; Sunday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ET): Starring Kirsten Dunst and executive produced by George Clooney. Set in a small Orlando-adjacent town in 1992, the 10-episode first season follows Dunst’s Krystal Stubbs, a minimum-wage water park employee who lies, schemes, and cons her way up the ranks of Founders American Merchandise (FAM) – the cultish, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme run by the powerful Obie Garbeau II (Ted Levine) that drove her family to ruin. Determined to make a better life for self, Krystal drives deep into FAM and develops a tangled relationship with its most loyal and fanatical follower (Théodore Pellerin) until her business begins to affect those closest to her, including Ernie (Mel Rodriguez), her affable water park boss and his FAM-skeptic wife Bets (Beth Ditto).
- The Righteous Gemstones (HBO; Sunday, August 18 at 10 p.m. ET): Created, directed, writer, executive produced and starring Danny McBride, well into the second generation of grand televangelist tradition, the renewed Gemstone family is living proof that worship pays dividends in all sizes, including their megachurch. McBride stars as Jesse Gemstone, the eldest of three grown Gemstone offering, who looks to lead in his father, Eli’s (John Goodman) footsteps, but finds his past sings jeopardizing the family ministry. Jesse’s siblings include Adam Devine as pseudo-hipster Kelvin, the youngest of the trio and a thorn in Jesse’s side, and Edi Patterson as Judy, who is secretly living with her fiancé and dreams of escaping the Gemstone compound. Meanwhile, Eli finds himself at a crisis point as he mourns the loss of his wife and questions the Gemstones’ mission.
