Fans of dark comedy may want to check out Marc Cherry’s (Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids) latest television series, Why Women Kill, which is now streaming exclusively in Canada on CBS All Access.
Starring Lucy Liu (Elementary), Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time) and Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Veronica Mars), Why Women Kill is about the lives of three women living in three different decades — a housewife in the ‘60s, a socialite in the ‘80s and a lawyer in 2019 — each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series examines how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal, has not.
The first season Why Women Kill will consist of ten episodes and will roll out each Thursday — the same day they make their debut in the U.S.
Additional cast members include Jack Davenport (Next of Kin), Sam Jaeger (Parenthood), Reid Scott (Veep), Alexandra Daddario (True Detective), Sadie Calvano (Mom), Leo Howard (Santa Clarita Diet), Alicia Coppola (Another World), and Katie Finneran (Brockmire).
