This week on The Young and the Restless: After Simon (Jeffrey Vincent Parisse) takes Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Adam (Mark Grossman), Connor (Judah Mackey) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) hostage, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) manage the crisis from Crimson Lights while Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) helps Chance (newly cast Donny Boaz) with the Grand Phoenix’s surveillance on Monday (November 11; Canadian airdates listed). 

Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) strategizes with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis later sets a trap.

On Tuesday (November 12), Adam interrogates Chelsea. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) connects with Chance regarding Katherine’s will and the money. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returns home to chaos.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) protect the Newman reputation on Wednesday (November 13). Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) mix business with pleasure. Abby protects her interests.

On Thursday (November 14), Nick’s campaign takes a hit. Adam opens up to Sharon (Sharon Case). Devon (Bryton James) receives a distress call from Jill (Jess Walton)!

Also coming up on Y&R: Will Theo (Tyler Johnson) accept Ashley’s job offer? Billy surprises Jack. Devon smells trouble Jill makes a shocking discovery. 

Casting: That’s Donny Boaz in the role of Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV! Nina and Phillip’s son made his debut at the tail end of the episode that aired on Thursday, November 7 (in Canada), as Chance punched Cane (Daniel Goddard). Chance was last seen in Genoa City in 2011 when he was played by John Driscoll. Long-time viewers will remember Gossip Girl and You star Penn Badgley in the role from 2000-2001! 

Boaz has previously appeared on the Dallas revival, Lucifer and NCIS: New Orleans. “It’s been a fun and amazing ride,” shared the actor in his Instagram post announcing his new gig, which began filming six weeks ago.
