Following the iconic Tournament of Champions, Jeopardy! is coming to primetime beginning next week on both ABC and YES in Canada.
Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time brings together three highest money winners in the long-running game show’s history: Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer. “Based on their previous performances, these three are already the ‘greatest,’ but you can’t help wondering: who is the best of the best?” said host Alex Trebek.
Jennings became a household name during his record 74-game winning streak, while Rutter holds the title for the most money won by any contestant. Holzhauer is the record holder for all 15 of the top single-game winnings records on the show. These fan favourites will compete in a series of matches with the first to win three receive $1 million and the title of The Greatest of All Time. The two runners up will each receive $250,000.
Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time will air as follows (hourlong episodes in addition to the nightly Jeopardy! episodes that will air in their regular slot):
