Corus Entertainment has announced that The Good Fight will finally return to Canada with its fourth season this fall. The series was previously scheduled to debut this past spring, when it aired on CBS All Access in the U.S.
Update (July 24): The Good Fight will return on September 3.
Season 4 of The Good Fight finds the law firm of Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart navigating a very different landscape. Following the loss of their biggest client, Chumhum, and the tarnishing of their founding partner’s name, the firm is forced to accept an offer by multi-national law firm, STR Laurie, to become a small subsidiary. Suddenly, all of their decisions can be second-guessed by the giant firm that is literally on top of them. While STR Laurie initially seem like benevolent overlords, Diane (Christine Baranski) and her colleagues grieve their loss of independence.
In addition to The Good Fight, returning dramas will also include Outlander, Nancy Drew, and Charmed.
New series Why Women Kill (which previously aired on CBS All Access) will also debut this fall, alongside British sitcom Intelligence (starring David Schimmer and Nick Mohammed), as well as sophisticated thriller Devils (starring Patrick Dempsey). Both Intelligence and Devils come from Sky in the UK. Devils has also been acquired by The CW for this fall.
New Hallmark Channel films set to premiere this fall include My Birthday Boyfriend, Vintage Hearts, Learning To Love Again, Starring Christmas and Inn for Christmas.
