Star Trek: Lower Decks will premiere on Thursday, August 6 in Canada and will be available to stream on Crave and will also air on CTV Sci-Fi Channel at 9 p.m. ET.
Set in 2380, the 10-episode animated series, follows the crew on the U.S.S. Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s least important ships. Star Trek: Lower Decks is developed by Rick and Morty’s Mike McMahan and features the voices of Tawny Newsome (Ensign Beckett Mariner), Jack Quaid (Ensign Brad Boimler), Noël Wells (Ensign Tendi) and Eugene Cordero (Ensign Rutherford).
The ship’s bridge crew will also feature Jerry O’Connell (Comander Jack Ransom), Dawnn Lewis (Captain Carol Freeman), Fred Tatasciore (Liutenant Shaxs), and Gillian Vigman (Doctor T’Ana).
The August 6th premiere of Star Trek: Lower Decks kicks off “23 Weeks of Star Trek” with Star Trek: Discovery launching its third season on October 15. Star Trek: Lower Decks also premieres on August 6 in the U.S. on CBS All Access.
