Bell Media confirmed on Friday (January 29) that Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League will stream on Crave in Canada beginning Thursday, March 18, the same day it becomes available in the U.S. on HBO Max.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League — or the “Snyder Cut” — is a version of D.C. and Warner Bros.’s 2017 film which is more in line with the director’s vision than what was previously released by the film studio after Joss Whedon stepped in.
While the framework of the story will stay the same, the Snyder Cut will include dozens of additional scenes, backstories, and new characters.
In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Afflack) assigns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more than difficult than Bruce imaged, as each of the recruits must face demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to Dave the planet from Steppenwolf (CiaránHinds), DeSaad (Peter Guinness), Darkseid (Joe Manganiello) and their dreadful intentions.
