U.S. streamer Peacock’s Punky Brewster revival is headed to Canada and will premiere on Thursday, March 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on W Network with back-to-back episodes.

W Network will continue to premiere two new episodes weekly, with encore presentations on YTV each Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT beginning March 5.

Punky Brewster has Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson reprising their roles from the original ‘80s sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad. The continuation will have Punky (Frye) who is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy (Quinn Copeland), a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self. Freddie Prinze Jr. also stars as Punky’s ex-husband, Travis.

In addition to Punky Brewster’s weekly rollout across W Network and YTV, all 10 episodes will be made available on STACKTV (on Amazon Prime Video) on March 4. Canadians can also stream the episodes weekly on GlobalTV.com and the Global TV app.
