Tomahawk, Alberta’s Beth Bieda was the latest houseguest to be sent to the jury house on Big Brother Canada. We caught up with Beth following her eviction to see if she felt any guilt after helping send Jedson home after he take her off the block the week before, her top moves on her BBCAN “resume,” and who she thinks played the better game.

How was it for you to evict Jedson?

It was one of the hardest things that I’ve ever done – in the game and outside of the game. It was absolutely heartbreaking. It was a very, very, dirty move. It was the way that the move was done. It was so dirty. That’s the part that breaks me.

Did you and Jedson ever discuss the possibility that one of you may have to “turn against the other” for the sake of going with the house regarding an eviction vote?

It wasn’t really a conversation, but I did often make jokes throughout the game, like “I’m not scared to cut you!” [Laughs] Things like that.

But I don’t think that Jed would have ever done that to me. That was the difference between us. I think he was a little but blindsided when I told him that was the play that week.

How soon did you tell Jedson that was going to be the play? Or was he blindsided at the actual eviction?

No, I told him very quickly that I was going back and forth with Tychon and Kiefer. I knew that if Jed was going to be staying, I needed him to trust me fully by letting him know what was really going on. It really strengthened our trust that much more.

On a personal level, I couldn’t do that to him. I couldn’t. let him be completely blindsided like that.

Did you ever feel guilty that Jedson used his veto on you despite knowing what the plan was?

Ugh… [Laughs]

It makes me feel very guilty. It is not something that I would have done – using the veto on someone else while I was up on the block. That’s just who Jedson is. He’s a great, loyal man. But this is the game of Big Brother.

Yeah, I feel guilty about it, but it was kind of also a big move.

Speaking of moves… What would you list as your top moves on your Big Brother Canada resume?

One of my top moves would definitely be backdooring Victoria. That was huge, despite what “The Sauce” wanted to do that week.

Having an alliance with Kiefer that was a secret for so long was also really big for me.

And not to mention, I definitely played a part in getting Latoya out.

What are your hopes to continue your relationship with Jedson? Are you worried at all that the game move may have cost you your relationship?

I really don’t think that cost us our relationship! Jedson and I have built something really strong in that game. He knew that I was there to play and not to find a boyfriend… But I think I found a boyfriend after all!

You mentioned to Arisa that you think Kiefer will win but you’d like to see Tera win. Who do you think played a better game between the two?

Yes. I think that Kiefer played an all-around better game. From start to finish, he has lied his way to the end. It’s brilliant what he does, really. But I love how much Tera has picked up her game. She worked so hard, and it’s been very clean throughout it as well.

Who are you hoping joins you in jury next?

Ty! I hope Tychon follows me. [Laughs]

You were very close with Tychon but he’s also very close with Breydon. How does that make you feel? You said you’d like to see him in jury, but would you be okay if he made it to the end?

I would be very happy if Ty made it to the very end. But I do think that there are more deserving players in the house.

It did hurt me this week when I knew I was going home, and he was still pouring his game into Breydon. I thought we worked very closely in this game and thought that I deserved more from him. But I know there’s more game left to play. He’s got to do what he’s got to do. Hopefully, he’s not doing it too dirty with Breydon. I’m hoping there really is something there between them.
