Canadians will be able to check out Peacock’s new comedy series Girls5eva when it premieres on Thursday, June 3 at 9 and 9:30 p.m. on W Network.

Created by Meredith Scardino and executive produced by Tina Fey, Jeff Richmond, Robert Carlock, David Miner and Eric Gurian, Girls5eva tells the comeback story about a one-hit wonder girl group from the ‘90s after they get sampled by a young rapper.

Sara Bareilles (Waitress), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton, One Life to Live), Paul Pell (Saturday Night Live, A.P. Bio), and Busy Philipps (Dawson’s Creek, Busy Tonight) portray the members of the girl group who reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot.

“They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can’t they also be Girls5eva?”

Girls5eva premiered in the U.S. on Peacock on May 6. The series will premiere with two back-to-back episodes in Canada on Thursday, June 3 at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on W Network – with episodes also streaming live and on demand on STACTV and the Global TV app, with two episodes rolling out each week.
